This excellent guided visit combines a throughout walking tour starting from Saint Mark’s Square, a guided visit inside the Saint Mark’s Basilica and a guided visit in the Doge’s Palace.

Starting from Saint Mark’s square, you’ll be taken by our official guide, trough the streets of Venice, to visit at first Saint Mark’s Square and its external monuments (Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Clock Tower, “Procuratie” and Bell Tower), then Santa Maria Formosa’s square and its beautiful church, Saints Giovanni and Paolo’s square and the “Scuola Grande di San Marco”, Marco Polo’s house and Malibran Theatre.

You’ll be back to Saint Mark’s square after about 1:30 hours where, without making any queue, you’ll get inside the Doge’s Palace (entry ticket included) with our guide whom will explain you the beauties of this world wide famous building. You’ll see the “Consiglio dei Dieci” hall, the “Maggior Consiglio” hall, the “Magistrato” hall, the “Giganti’s” Staircase, the Golden Staircase, the prisons and you’ll be crossing the far-famed Bridge of Sighs.

At the end of the visit of the Doge’s Palace, we’ll move toward the Saint Mark’s Basilica where, again without any queue, we’ll continue our visit.

The guide will take you within the Saint Mark’s Basilica to explain you the magnificence of this marvellous Byzantine church and its beautiful mosaics. Every guest will receive a pair of earphones - which are included in the tour price – to better listen to the explanation. Some days exceptional high tides will not allow the access to the Basilica, therefore, this part of the tour can be accomplished the day after or refunded.

Visitors are allowed in the Basilica only if wearing appropriate clothing (no shorts, miniskirts, etc.). Visitors are not allowed to take backpacks inside.
